Working on my 73 CS in hopes to have it ready for the Vintage in a couple of weeks. I have been working on a fuel injection conversion using an L Jetronic from a 79 733i. Down to setting the wiring in place and AFM. Everything looks great till I set the AFM in place tonight and realized the refitted AC lines and filter drier are on the fender right where the elbow tube and air filter need to go. Moving the lines and drier would not be such an issue if old and poor shape, but the previous owner did a meticulous job with the new lines mounting the drier. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Current thought right now is to move the AFM and have a new tube made for an angled installation. It will mean moving supports and abandoning the new rubber parts already purchased.
