some of the troublesome questions on the wheelarch area and the difficulties of avoiding chances of being a trap for debris and water, snow and gravel

as it is a design not probably best one, some might have design a better way;

a view of the area reveals the incident

the screwed plate closes the path towards the rocker area, if you dont stop it there it will go inside

see small gravel there, and dust, and small patches of dry mud

modern cars provide a way of avoiding this to happen by means of a cover
