After 20+ years of working on my coupe, I was finally able to take the thing to BMW Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline Mass.
I had been to the show there numerous times in the past and was able to gain inspiration, insight and resources from the assorted coupe attendees.
Sadly, this year, vintage autos were not strongly represented. There were only 3 coupes in attendance, going along with (2) 2002's and Andrew Wilson's 1600 Cabriolet (aka Veronika).
I thought my color choice was rare enough, but one of the other 2 coupes was a very original '74 Granatrot. Didn't expect that
I guess, similar to this years Boston Red Sox, it's wait 'til next year.
