License plate lights- don't fit

GOT THIS WRONG.
They are trunk/hood lights.



These are the lights that mount in the bumper and illuminate the license plate.

Also shown to fit the E12, E21, E24.
All plastic.
They are shown as available so I ordered 2. List at $57 each.
Another item that BMW thinks will fit multiple models.

They won't fit in the hole in the bumper.

those are not bumper lights Gary. I have a brand new set of BMW bumper lights for the license plate (the new style) ... i actually have 2 sets. i will bring them to you this weekend. i paid 60 bucks + got them from Murray Fowler.

we can talk trade for help with woodwork or one of those lights that are used in the trunk (back of the rear seat)
