Light Weight Boot Lid on eBay, NOS

Is this the same part that you can purchase thru BMW?

Is this the same part that you can purchase thru BMW for around $4k?

You are right, I checked and the boot lid is still available from BMW
Or is it the factory light weight Hood that is hard to find?

I also have a NOS boot lid for sale, listed on this forum. However I am not sure that they are available from BMW.

My investigations lead to the understanding that a CSL town pack boot lid may be available, but these are pre-drilled to take the rear spoiler and are actually made of steel.

Anyway, in all the uncertainty, there are 2 NOS boot lids available, 1 in Germany and 1 in Melbourne,
