I’m just interested, can you still go along with your own tools and remove parts? I’ve not done that in the U.K. for thirty years. But when I was a student we did that all the time.

At Pick and Pull you bring your own tools and pull your own parts. They have engine hoists and heavy duty wheelbarrows. There are professional parts pullers as well.

You California folks... I do these searches within 250 miles of Milwaukee, WI (which includes Green Bay to the north and (3) locations in Chicago) and I generally get zero matches. Cars this old around here are evidently long gone.
One word - rust.

I would try to find a running car w/a B35 motor.

It is my overall experience that a man cannot have too many E28 rear window motors.
