I’m looking for a paint/restoration shop to finish my 1974 3.0CS in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Texas area. Everything has been repaired. Ready for paint & interior.

location is important but having coupe experience is critical.

The two shops that I use have both done at least 5-6 cars for me.

I don’t care for the beta experience…

Chris / Don, would you recommend the shop that did Charlie's work? otherwise i know of a few options that are listed in the FAQ - top sources. those are SFDon (San Francisco bay area), the Werk Shop (very expensive - Illinois), VSR (New Hampshire). Coupeking (LA area). none of those are remotely close to Texas, but they are all very experienced shops that do great work / no excuses needed in the future)

What is "the beta experience?" And agree with Don, coupe experience is critical!!

Being the Beta Boy means that the shop you chose has no experience doing a coupe.

Have fun with that ..

Even with the shops that I use, I still make it a point to ask Paul Cain who is the coupe expert extraordinaire to come and look at every car that is in paint shop with me for approval and guidance…

You can’t undo a paint shop job after the fact.

Well, you can, but it’s really stupid expensive!

It would be good to know what your goals are for the car, where you are in the restoration process, and what your budget is.

What do you mean by "everything has been repaired? Is the car disassembled now?

Are you looking for just a good repaint, or a nut and bolt complete restoration?

Brendon, are you THE restoration guy for the eastcoast.

John Hewitt has the paintwork to be admired, you can put ‘em back together…

Brendon get’s high recommendations from all in our area.
