Looking for a torsion spring for my E3

Thanks, Barry. I'm looking at the drawings and they appear to be bent differently. I don't know what bending the spring to fit would entail.

I have a couple on the parts Bav I have...however they are pretty rusty (as is the rest of the car... Postage/freight could suck though given their length.
The ones on this car are really strong, I almost got whacked in the face the first time I opened the trunk. Either one or both are yours if you want them. I might need some instruction on how to pull them off though.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer very much. The one that isn't broken does hold the trunk open, so I'm not yet in the desperation mode.
I'm up in the bay area for a while working my HS baseball season. My son lives in Murrieta and I won't be down there for a few months. If you can hold on to them for a while I can come over and take them out. Could you PM me with your phone# so we can talk directly about this?
