Hi guys, My valve cover developed a micro fracture (leaks a little oil) on it due to a past misalignment with the front timing cover height, which is too short so I can't have it milled down. Tried various repairs over the years but ideally I'd like to just replace it with a know good one.

Anyone have one they are willing to part with? Thanks in advance..

Hi @Luis A.,

I have one from my ‘73 CSi, manufactured in ‘72. It has been vapor blasted also. It looks good from 2’ away. If you hyper focus at certain angles there are a few very minor scuffs. If I were to run in the car and ceramic coat it, I would do another pass with vapor or perhaps something just slightly more aggressive. The underside has oil but is easily cleaned. Did that for the date stamp.

I’m not really looking to recover my cost of vapor so shoot me a reasonable offer on the valve cover to your door. If you want something better, or later the valve cover is available to any interested parties.

I have a 1985 dated valve cover that doesn't leak. It was on my Korman stage 2 engine that was built in 2005. I got another one with no threaded studs on it. This engine had 4000 miles on it when the cover was replaced. $80 + shipping from Ft. Lauderdale.

Oil filler on the wrong end! And unneeded bosses on it.

The oil filler can be easily filled if you have a carb engine. The bosses were needed on mid 1980's 633 engines according to a guy who told me why it was there.
The important thing is the bottom edge is straight and does not leak oil. Here's what I have now. The filler is on the left side.
