Hi all
I'm looking for a new or newish Front windshield glass for my 3.0S, as well as a Rear windshield sealing frame (rubber seal/gasket). Anyone have any leads? Thanks!

The windshield was easy for me. My glass guy found a new one closed by. $200. There were others available in the US at the time (last summer).

The sealing frames are a different story. Watch the for sale ads here closely. Call or email the E3 parts suppliers here and in Europe. Get on their list in case another run of them is made at some time.

What are the TOP SOURCES for PARTS and SERVICE?

It helps to know where you are, you can add it to your profile so it displays by your name. Also, year is important, 3.0S Bavaria thru 8/73 is different from 3.0S from 9/73, both gasket and metal trim.
 
I'm in rural southwest Virginia, and it's a late 1971.

I've already called the glass places for the windshield. No one has been able to find me one. But I'm still asking. BMW says there are none in the world.

Likewise I've already called the typical suppliers here and in Germany for the sealing frame. I was able to find a front one through Instagram via in guy in Portugal who cleared out a defunct dealership a decade ago. Coming up short for the rear, I bought an E12 rear sealing frame (which are a dime a dozen) hoping it would work, but it's 1" too tall and I'd hate to have two cuts in my seal.

Did the seal from Portugal fit? I am seeking the same seals. I acquired a front seal but have not had chance to access fitting.
 
There are like four different part numbers for the front sealing frame depending on when it was made, and I find conflicting information on that timing and differences (if any). But I ended up with 51311828248 and luckily it fits perfectly (car is titled as a 1972).
