Looking for E9 quartz zeit clock face - for experiment

Does anyone have a scrap clock face in a parts bin? (Laugh now) So I've got my gauge cluster on the bench, VDO gauges are cleaned, repaired and new 4 Watt bulbs. But in the dark still the clock looks so dim on the upper half. Illumination is not on-par with the other 3 dual-bulb gauges and IMO it kind of looks deficient- they should have put a 2nd bulb up there. I've tried a LED bulb that is supposedly 3x brighter. Its soon winter time in Chicago and so tinker time in the basement.

do you have a 2800cs or a 3.0cs? faces are different - the 1st is off-white numbers, the latter is white numbers. i can look to see what i have, but they are complete clocks

Ah yes, there is the "fussiness" or level of detail so many of our members are guilty of. Love seeing owners think their way through improving.
