Mounting pictures and options. I am thinking of taking on that task soon. Has anyone found good options on Amazon of premade products that might work well in creating a shelf or mounting for the ECU in the E9 glovebox. Just wondering?

I just used metal strap/brackets from Ace Hardware and used the glovebox hinge shelf and the latch itself to suspend it above the glovebox.
Chris. I like that solution. When you can could provide me a picture or two. I think that would help me out.
I will search on my laptop as that coupe is gone.

Juan Ortiz in SoCal made a very professional one for me out of Aluminum that fits inside the glove box and is hinged with a latch. It is completely out of the way, you don't see it and is very easy to access the ECU. Many in the SoCal Coupe Mafia know Juan and you can get his contact info from them or PM me and I'll get it to you.

Thanks. This does looks straight forward and I can angle the box so it is facing the wire harness plug to make things easier.
That is what I did, plug just made it to right side.
