I have a 1974 3.0CS. My driver side window was working slowly so I brought it to a local body shop to repair. They informed me that the motor was completely shocked even though the day prior it was working although very slowly. They said they could send it to someplace in Twin Falls Idaho to have recondition for about $300. Does anyone know of an alternative? The window is stuck up which would be very uncomfortable in the summertime to drive. Thank you

I have the OE motor for the '74 model. It operates well, but was slow. I'll sell it for $50, plus shipping. I 'suspect' that if the motor transmission and the regulator are cleaned and re-greased it would operate significantly faster. Let me know via PM if you are interested.
