Get some thin, gasket cork.
1) Measure the inside diameter of the lid, divide that by 2 and use this number to set a compass to pencil-mark the outside diameter of the gasket. you. will. make.
2) Then reduce the compass breadth 1/8" and using the same center point on the gasket trace/pencil-mark the inside diameter.
3) Carefully and slowly cut your gasket out of the sheet following those lines.
It ain't an o-ring, but if you're careful, and slow, you'll be more satisfied that you produced it than you would be if you found an o-ring/gasket at o-rings-r-us !
