Hey guys,

I've become very much infatuated with the classic Maserati's, specifically the 3500GT-based Sebring. Does anyone here have any experience with these or knows of any for sale, specifically the Sebring series I or II, 3500 GT, or the Mexico?

I've found the usual web-based forums and vendors but wondering if someone in this great community can offer some first-hand experience.

TIA!

Can't blame you for wanting one...

I agree with you these are wonderful cars and all-time favorite of mine (I like the '59-'64 Touring). About 6 years ago I nearly bought one which had what seemed to be minimal body work. However, the body being aluminum meant a steep bill... So I passed. They are really nice cars. I don't know how practical, though.

Jeez, had to wipe the drool off my keyboard before I posted. Same era as the DB II in "The Birds". Stunning cars.

You sure put the bar pretty high. None immediately listed on a Google search. One did show up at $75,000 for a non running, no glass or interior model (who needs those anyway) with the wrong paint job.

Here's a nice looking one. Let us know what the price is

Thanks for the posts and PM's guys.
They are handsome cars. Design-wise, the Italian cousins of the E9. They are worth around the ballpark of a very nice CSL, but appreciating.

Gorgeous cars. They show up on bringatrailer.com from time to time. You might look through any old listings there for comments from owners and brokers.

As well as a glorious inline 6 with triple weber induction.

Thanks for the posts and PM's guys.

luis, love that one
the coupe, and the cabrio too
i saw one cabrio inside a fashion shop in milan, nearby the duomo
the security guy came to have close look on my unexpected interest, not in the cloths, but in the car alone

too far away in my posibilities

good luck

DQ: The cabs, as usual, are far more expensive than the hardtop versions and out of reach for me as well. I just don't value the open air experience that highly.
