I received this inquiry to our Registry from Mark Dalziel:

"About 20 - 25 years ago my dad completed a full restoration on this car,
however, had to sell her when she was completed. She is still on the road today and I always promised my dad I would relocate her one day. I know she was sold to a guy in the Wirral but don't know any history after this. I have been advised you may be able to help me relocate her. I do have 3 albums full of pics of her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks"

Sounds like a UK car, or at least it was in the UK 20-25 years ago. Wikipedia tells me that "the Wirral" is in western England, and the photo of the car shows the steering on the right.

I assume that Mark either doesn't have the VIN, or if he does it isn't a VIN that appears in the register. But maybe the VIN isn't important, since it is likely to still have its "SVM 7K" registration number.

Fortunately England is an island, much easier to find a lost car.

+1, I seem to remember another member posting about tracing his car's history sing the registration plate. No one looks at milk cartons
