Found a picture of this 73 Ceylon CS that was posted by Shimbimmer a few years back. Turns out it is the totally restored coupe that was owned by the owner of an exclusively BMW repair shop (Phaedrus) in San Francisco.

I've used this shop since the early 1990's and have noticed the car has never been moved up until now. It is displayed next to his other BMW classics: a pristine Polaris 2002, another perfect 2002 touring and a nice black E34 M5. The 3.0CS was completely restored probably back in the 1980's and it is perfect in every way. Pretty stunning combo of Ceylon and a new black leather interior. Spencer (owner) passed last year and it would be interesting to see who owns the coupe now. Who knows...maybe it's available.

US bumper extensions

What a pity they didn´t sort this out during the restoration.
Just removing the spacers will still call for new holes on the rear fenders as well as filling/repainting the existing holes. At least it doesn´t have those horrid side markers, esp the ones up front about 3" from the already large turn signal lamps.
