I am confused about my rear end and transmission. These are pictures from 2019 of Bianka. Can anyone tell me if the rear end is posi and the trans close ratio? Much appreciated......I defer to those more knowlegable.
Thanks

I see the “S” which means LSD. Can’t see how many teeth are on the ring gear so can’t make out the ratio. My guess would be a 3.64. It could also be a 3.45 but that only came on the 2800CS and early CSL’s. Both ratios have an 11 tooth pinion gear but and you have late diff axle flanges with nuts on the backside. The 3.0CS came with a 3.64.

It’s really hard to tell with the crossmember in the way, but based on the aluminum near the bolt pattern the trans appears to be overdrive. If you snapped a picture at a slightly better angle or showed the tail housing it would be more apparent.

Based on the picture (rear 2023.jpg) in your post, that diff is not a LSD. No 'S' stamping. Unfortunately, the stencil 'S' is usually on the top, and much harder to see when installed.

You can do that by unbolting of the upper vent cap & looking on the type of inner mechanism case & stamping on it.
You can also try to rotate one side of the half shaft mount ear & if while rotating another side will be strongly rotating at the same direction - that will mean you have LSD duff; if opposite - you have open type diff.

Adding a bit more detail just in case you were under the impression that your 2019 transmission was a dogleg G265/5.

The 265/5 has a step in the rearmost mount. Your 2019 transmission does not.
