Lug Question

It depends...... I have a set of 16x7 et11's off of a 5 series that you could not use with stock lugs. the studs are too short. These cars all used bolts that were pretty long.
I solved it by machining the back side of the hub, that essentially had a 13mm spacer cast into it, to make them effectively ET24. Now the Lug studs are long enough to work OK. They have about 1.5D thread engagement now.
