Last fall the company that develops the cars for the video game Forza Motorsports scanned Luigi with the intention of integrating him into the game. Yesterday I was informed that he is now available to race in the simulator. My only complaint is they removed Luigi's name from the windshield banner. I guess they are afraid of Belgian attorneys, Who knows. Here's how he looks in the game:

Was it the guys from Turn10?? They're just down the hill from me! Super cool company with a nice rotation of lobby display cars. A friend used to travel and do the scanning and sound capture for them!

VERY cool. Forza Motorsport was responsible for much of my early love for cars.
This will introduce future generations to these cars.
I know this forum discusses future generations appreciation for E9s from time to time, well THIS is a great way to introduce these generations.

CSL Forza 2023:

Looks like a lot more understeer than I have with Luigi. One of his strengths is how well he turns in to the apex and rotates. Then it's just torque! He's like a freight train coming out of the turns. When his inside front tire is in the air I know he's happy.

An amazing story of an amazing car.

Painting in Castrol colors on this car is impressive.
The sound of this engine when downshifting is something wonderful.
Racing these cars nowadays must be something you will remember for the rest of your life.
Pure mechanics and driver skills...

I love these two videos below from one of the best racetracks in Europe:

That 3.5 CSL onboard..... PHEWWW
Amazing.
Would the car in 3rd video be an M49?

Hi Lucas,

Most of the recreation cars in Europe use the S38 engine as the M49 motors are too rare and expensive to use.
Yes, of course you are right. The M49 is currently a rarity among engines, but as far as I know, there are several cars with this engine and they participate in classic competitions.

M49 supercharged.

Belgium Motorsport.
