Lol

(Although might need a bit of explanation for those who live in countries not blessed with the gastronomical triumph that is the Bell)

I think I personally kept the Taco Bell going when I was at school in San Luis Obispo. The TB has since moved to a new location down the street from where is was when I was in SLO, but the building is still a taco stand. Oh - fun times. LOL

As I recall - when I was in town, our Taco Bell was the highest grossing one in the country. Just went to show you how little else there was in town (back in the mid 1980's).

No indoor seating or drive through for us. Just old-school walk up and order windows with tables out front (or take back to the library at 2am - LOL)

Years ago Esquire did a review of fast food chains. They declared it was the best fast food and the best kept secret. I don't remember how they defined "best."

Wasn't Taco Bell one of the companies resulting from the 1984 AT&T divestment court order... aka the Baby Bells.
