Looking at buying a set of M Forged Double Spoke wheels (36 11 2 227 350) and jus wanted to know if the stampings in the back of the wheels are real? (i.e., how do u spot a fake?)

Here is what the wheel looks like. So supposedly the replicas have ONLY MOTORSPORT stamped on the front and no "BMW"

And I called Tomkinson and they said there are 56 left in a BMW warehouse in Deutscheland! $1740 (inc. $200 freight to the states) and aboit $150 to ship!

Absolutely. I am looking for staggered open lug 16" Alpinas if anybody is selling for $2000-2500 depending on condition. Don't want perfect $3000-3500 ones. Preferably in SoCal

I've got a 99% perfect set of Alpinas that are being removed as I type this just south of Boston but I want $3K for them + shipping.
 
I have seen those wheels go for from $800-1000. Sometimes you get lucky and find a set on CL for $250 though. I suggest trying Searchtempest.com to see if you have any local to you.
