M30 flywheel question

Hi,

As I make a list of things I'll need in order to do an automatic to manual swap on my e3 I was wonder if anyone could confirm that the flywheel from a manual trans 528i e12 will work okay with a pre 74 e3 4speed manual trans and clutch kit?

I believe it will. I know the flywheel bolts need to be longer.

I would think so, the 27mm one fits e12 and the only available one today is 33mm and fits a lot of BMWs.

I can confirm that the flywheel from an '81 528i fits the M30, I use exactly that, right in front of the Getrag 265 it came with from the factory.

It worked in front of the 4-speed from an '80 528i also.
