I need to tighten my front pulley nut to 360 + or so, ft/Lbs.
and really don't feel like buying another torque wrench just for a 1 shot deal.

Mine goes to to 250, any thoughts?
See How much it turns in steps, then do the angle math and hope for the best?
Not my favourite way of doing mechanical work, but...

I can always use a gun, but not very precise, I guess.

Use blue loctite?

Thank you all.

Regards, Alberto

Hi,
Since no one else has chimed in , I'll offer my Heath Robinson solution. 360 ft/lbs , roughly 500nm? So 50kg force applied at 1m along steel bar , with socket attached the other end. This can be measured different ways or at different distances eg 2m = 25 kg
Use luggage scales or fish scales etc , hook end around bar by your own method and pull on bar with scales until you get the magic figure , repeat as necessary!
