Can a dual Weber set up on m30 engine with a 1980 head be put on an m30b35? And if so what would be expected in any performance upgrade or is it a waste of time?
Question is only pertaining to the Carbureation being put on the m30b35.
The engine being considered is from a 1987 735i

Would they match up from a 1972 3.0 liter ?

as i remember, all of the intake ports vary somewhat ... if i'm not mistaken, you could have the manifold machined so that it would fit as i believe the b35 ports are the largest

They don’t match....
