I'm nearly done with the install after a long winter project, looking forward to driving soon!
Looking for data on other installations out there, specifically the angle of engine/trans front to back when settled into its final resting place.
There seems to be a couple of factors that can make a significant difference to where it sits in the car.
1. Choice of transmission crossbar
2. Position of crossbar in rail
3. Engine and trans rubber mount #s you choose.
To find angles I used a phone app and set it on the valve cover, which seemed to match any usable surface on the trans.
My trans is fairly close to the floor and I think I need to drop/shim center prop bearing to match height of output flange.
