anyone has a picture of door ? one with new motor and one with sardine motor ?
just to see if its easy to install (i have new type motor on the rear)

do you know what this 6 wires are ? where are they going ? i have no wire in my doors and it seems wires goes under the carpet with is glued and i don't want to take it appart...
i think they are just somewhere under the carpet, disconnected but if someone has an idea ... i take it !

thank a lot
Vincent

First of all, when was your coupe built, before Feb 1973 or after. The wiring diagram is for sardine can motors with three wires to each motor, the later motors use two, is this what you have in the rear? You would need window regulators that hold either of these motors. Your switches are the later style by the way. The wires for the front door end at a junction behind the kick panels with just two wires if later style.

My car is 74 , I was thinking that newer motor ( none can motor) on rear was only on car after 73 so I didn’t mention it sorry

This is the wrong diagram … I was so upset about not understanding…… it’s all clear now !!
Do you have the correct diagram? This is very strange because I have the original owners papers with original manual…

I think I need a pair of recent motor to match with my car with regulator , I will see tonight
With new motors , is this plug and play as can motors or you need more modification of the door panel ?

Thanks a lot !

74 wiring diagram is here:

You need a pair of e28 window motors from the “rear“ doors only, members sell them here, but it may be hard to find the regulator to mount the motor. You will also need the circuit breaker, you already have one, under the steering column, hopefully wiring is there too. Not quite plug and play.

thx a lot for your help Chris !!!!

do you have a picture of front regulator for me ? there is so much model for front and rear that im not sure to see what it look like.
I have a circuit breaker under steering column ,
it was a little obscure for me and i was thinking it was an anti thief or something like that. i will take some picture by curiosity.

do you think precedent owner did some modification to have electric windows ? or it came out of factory with connector and wiring ?? i read on this forum that wiring and connector were not present out of factory but maybe in europe it's different..

i saw modification with E28 motor on the forum but if you had a picture of original motor and regulator, it will be very helpful for me
thx again

ok it is clear now ! thx a lot Chris
it is hard to have good info on google with this car
come from mini's world, it's a bit different and easier to find info on google but mini's are infinilty more common.... haha

Hello all
I found this in the kick panel
26B8B4AA-0130-4321-941A-6B79F9CF0CF0.jpeg

Two wires, so it seems I can fit e28 motors
But I wondered, is it possible to install an old Sardin can motor??
Just screw the ground on the door panel and it will be okay ?
I want to do minimal modification on my car and cutting away door panel for e28 seems a bit risky for me

Thank you guys for your help
As you can see, there is plenty of dirt in the car, obturator seems to had gone away With time …. Need a good clean up and some verification
(Some wire suffered a bit)

Thx Chris
Maybe i will let it manual for now
Will add power later maybe when the car will work correctly
