Hi All,

Almost finished the auto-to-5sp. conversion and I'm having a time finding a suitable place to T-off the brake fluid reservoir so I took the "T" and fitted it into the rubber grommet on top of the Master cyl. Has anyone else done this or am I looking for trouble from leakage in that area. It seems to fit pretty snug.

Thanks,

If I understand what you have done, no that isn't ideal.

The stock brake fluid reservoir has three outlets. The one for the clutch is located higher up than the two for the F and R brakes - that way, if the clutch circuit springs a leak, you won't drain the fluid all the way down and starve the brakes.

The three outlets have protective caps on them - the one for the clutch MC is pointing toward the viewer - it looks like a little arm coming out of the body, while the two outlets for the brake circuits look like little legs.

These 3 outlet reservoirs are readily available from a number of sources - they were used on 2002's as well as coupes.
