Isn’t this the Italian car that was for sale about a year ago with dramatic price increases from seller to seller?
Note: wheel wells also have the original grey undercoating ( not body color as often asserted) as did the rest of the underbody from factory!

It appears to be the same car from a year ago, minus the alpina wheels and petri. Wonder why it hasn’t sold?

One reason is surely that 125K€ is still considered a very high price for a E9 (non Csl) in Europe. The recent BaT prices don’t correlate to Euro coupe prices and online purchases dont generally happen without PPI’s.

Interesting. Was this depending on body color or year?

It means 99% of E9s were covered with body paint later on, during the usage/repair. Hmm

Assuming grey undercoat is on, does it mean the black under body protection visible on the pictures above was put on factory and peeled off during the usage or was applied after by the user?

Based on later BMW cars (E24, E30...), grey/beige protection is common, but it is covered black layer (coat, paint, ...?) by factory.
