Looking for any recommendations for mechanics in the Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill Area. I appreciate any direction.

depends on if you are talking major work or minor work. if its major work, or complicated work, i would recommend Korman in Greensboro. if its just general mechanical work, i will leave it to somebody in the region to give you advice

Shade Tree Auto
The best place in the state is Shade Tree Garage and specifically Dietrich Koch. Shade Tree welcomes vintage BMW's. Tom Whaley works with Dietrich, Tom owns 3 e9's an M6 and a 635csi. They're reasonable and more importantly they know vintage BMW's and are happy to work on them.
Korman is a great shop as well though no better than Shade Tree in my humble opinion...but $$$$$
