This topic is now closed, as a member has offered a donation to e9 Forum that is satisfactory to me. Thanks to all who responded with interest.

The '74 CS I bought last spring with 'nearly' Granatrot exterior paint had medium grey leather, black dash/console and medium grey carpet. I'm changing the interior colors to MB bamboo leather and OE KHM black carpet .

I started removing the excellent condition grey wool carpet from the car today (the highly renowned WI restoration shop that had done several Ferraris, including one that was accepted to Pebble Beach Concours for the owner of this car did all the exterior and interior restoration in 1987 at a cost of nearly $40K - so all components were high quality). The carpet is in excellent condition. IF you are doing, or planning on doing a restoration, this will soon be available. Since it is wool, it is easily dyeable. All interior pieces should be available in very good to excellent condition - I'm using a lot of 3M adhesive solvent to remove it!

Price is right - shipping cost only to me, capped at $25 (for continental US shipments). Plus whatever value you think it has as a donation to the e9 Forum.

I can send pictures if you are interested. Send me your direct e-mail address, so I can respond with pix. Whoever pledges highest amount to e9 Forum gets the carpet.

Cheers,

All 4 inquiries responded to, with pictures as of 9:30 AM EST 3/9. I'll close this to any further inquiries by midnight tonight PST.

Also, please note it will be a 'silent auction', so each person interested can decide what they think is fair and make that bid. Highest contribution gets the carpet.

Please note that this carpet was installed in 1987, so is not the 'molded' carpet originally in the car. However, since it has been in place for 29 years, and was glued in place, it now has taken on the 'form' of where it was positioned. So, each individual piece is almost like it was 'molded' for that position.

Thanks to all for interest. I hope this helps Dan with the 'costs' associated with operation of this extremely helpful site. I've attached a pix of the passenger side/tunnel for viewing appearance of the carpet.

Cheers,
