The Grinch is a bitter, grouchy, garage-dwelling creature with a spleen "two sizes too big" who lives on dry Cupertino, home of the merry and warm-hearted Geeks. His only companion is his unloved, but loyal coupe, Verona.

The Grinch visited the local post office, a place full of Geeks shipping expensive holiday gifts to relatives and friends. He publicly stuffed in an envelope a red handled screwdriver Dan had just made and Doug had just purchased from the Grinch.

A shabby holiday screwdriver, not even Heyco, and not even a gift?
In the Geek's eyes one could not get any lower than that Grinch.

But the Grinch's wise wife always reminded him of an enduring human trait:

"Nobody is a villain in his own eyes".
