Another case of the Japanese taking a German idea to the next level. The Mitsubishi Delica.
Four wheel drive, turbo diesel. A guy in the town near me, Cumberland, B.C. has been importing these, RHD, used and then refurb'ed, and selling like hot cakes. "Outdoorsie" types, (I include myself in the description) have been converting these for everything from off road camper, surf board and cycle hauler, ski machine, you name it.

Who knows....Not sure what the grey market rules are in the states these days. The guy imports them here used. What is the US rule on RHD? I assume it is OK. I believe the grey market rules have relaxed as well. Maybe make the excuse you need one as a volunteer mailman!

Volunteer Mailman, now that is a novel idea. Those AWD vans are pretty cool. I just don't like how little crumple zone there is for my legs. My Dad has a tiny 1300cc Suzuki Van we are decommissioning for an 01 Forrester because anyone who drives it knows they are toast if it hits a Pickup.
