Hello all,

I am thinking of changing the mirrors that I do have 1973 cs. To a 1975-1976 530 bmw mirror any suggestions where I might find them. Saw them on Paul Cains car and kinda like them...Thanks Again

I spent a lot of time daydreaming about a mirror change. A very high quality classic would be something like a Talbot Green Dot (West Germany) like-

These were used on many classics including Merc 300SL Gullwing etc... Available in chrome and paintable. Sometimes on ebay you can find a deal on these. New, they top out at $245 ea prox.

If more contemporary strikes your fancy a Vitaloni mirror might be more appealing. They make several models you can research. Here's one-

In the end, I felt a mirror's just a mirror and the standard chrome BMW mirror looked pretty good as is. Have fun and send a pic when you are done!!

The early electric mirrors like Paul's are generally hard to find, expensive, or both.

Take a look at the chrome electric mirrors from an 80's vintage Jag sedan or coupe. Very similar to the BMW part, and much more common.
