missing part

While working under the car I found I am missing a part that supports the exhaust system.
If you look at the picture the exhaust bracket is not connected to the L shaped part with the shiny nut above. There is a one or two millimeter separation between the parts where the hole in the picture is.

What goes there? Just metallic attach like a screw/boly or is there rubber there?

Hi Arde,

If I'm looking at the picture correctly, on my car (74 w/5-speed conversion) there is a rubber bushing-like affair that has a bolt through it and it attaches to a bracket that mounts to the exhaust giving it support and a little insulation from the vibration. These are not really good pictures but I threw them in just in case it helps. It looks like yours is almost right on, just needs some insulating rubber where it attaches to the transmission and then needs to be connected to the pipe(s) depending on your exhaust.

Typically, the 2800 cs automatic bracket is best suited which has a longer "arm" on the top bracket. But you're missing the bits that connect the parts.

CN sent 18-21-1-712-091 bushings plus 6x30 bolt/nut/washer as the parts for this, so I may not need to bother you. Will see if this fits well.
