BMW AG just released a press release indicating that due to the overwhelming response of "oldtimer" fans, they decided to bring back Mobile Tradition- and over the past six months they have used the time to remanufacture most every NLA part for 2002, E9, E3, and E-30 cars, including limited production cars.

Here's the best part: Current BMWCCA members get a 40% off discount for the next 60 days!

BMW chairman Norbert Reithofer has confirmed that the German carmaker will introduce a new front-wheel-drive entry-level model positioned and priced below the existing 1-series as part of plans to help increase part sharing and to bolster the potential for production savings between the BMW and Mini brands, thus bringing an end to the era of rear- and four-wheel-drive-only BMW models.

Haw, haw, pretty good joke, huh? They are joking, aren't they? Tell me they're joking!

Hmm how do you go below the 1 series

The new 1/2 series
I can see it now

1/2 18i
1/2 28i
and for the big spenders 1/235i twin turbo priced at a modest $31,000
