Up for sale is a very early production early-mid 70’s original 380mm Alpina steering wheel. Wheel and center pad are in excellent condition. Very hard to find this period example in this good of condition. Fits any Momo hub for any 2002.

Looks to be the steering wheel that Momo sold alongside the ones they made for Alpina and simply called "The Alpina" steering wheel by distributors that sold them in their advertisements. The key difference was the location of the engraving on the spoke.
 
To be clear this IS an original early Momo Alpina steering wheel. There have been several different locations and styles of where the Momo and Alpina script have appeared over the years, in fact close there may have been 7-8 iterations. They are ALL genuine Momo Alpina wheels, just from different time periods. I have been collecting and documenting Alpina Steering wheels for almost a decade and am always happy to share the finding with this forum as I love e9's and especially e9 steering wheels. Happy to answer any questions.

The M535i three-spoke wheel or the E21 sport three-spoke wheel?

I have an OK-enough example of the latter that needs a new leather wrap, a horn cancel ring and maybe some refinishing help on the plastic on the spokes (it‘s fine but more matte than it should be) I was going to get it recovered but decided I’d rather spend the money on a different wheel.
