Dear gentleman,

I discovered today that one of my neighbours down the street has been a collector of vintage steering wheels in the past. He still had this Momo hub in his basement and I told him, I know the right home for it.
I remember that I once saw this hub number in combination with an early Alpina steering wheel - but anyone knows if it is a really rare / desirable part?

Thanks in advance!

It's a proper hub for the first edition of 4-spoke Alpina steering wheel from B2/B6 e12 from 70's, probably first colapsable momo hub for BMW, while earlier e9/e10 3-spoke steering wheels with 153 & 152 hubs where solid aluminium.
Pretty rare, but not super rare.
Might be desirable for genuine early Alpina car owner, who wants 100% originality, while most early Alpina cars have inside already changed (for later editions) 4-spoke Alpina steering wheels / hubs / horn buttons. Most owners probably don't see the difference between early vs later & have no need to change them.

Thanks a lot - highly appreciated! :)
So proper steering wheel would be an early four spoke with a horn button still showing a solex unit and camshaft instead of ITB and crankshaft?
Thanks a lot for your support again!
