Monterey car shows

Hi all,

I am new to the monterey area and wanted to check out the car shows this weekend. I checked out the website for Pebble Beach and they want $150 per ticket! Is this price for special access to events or is it really the general admission price? Are there any other events in the area that are cheaper? I know Carl Nelson is bringing a few coupes, is anyone else coming with theirs?

There are all sorts of events in the area. several of the members and vendors are there or arriving this evening. There is a posting in events. So if you wanted to just take a drive and find a good place for a drink or dinner, there's likely to be any number of classics around everywhere. Yes, it's $150... for three days. There are also races, automobilia auctions, etc. that don't cost as much.

If you find a coupe... chances are they're a member here.. or they'll find you if you drive yours.
