Monterey Memories 2018

Nikon D5 with 2x adapter on 800 mm lens (1600 mm). Manual focus. Shutter priority set to 1250 at ISO 800.

So basically I look out the window, find the target, point, focus, fire!

Actually that shot is a bit out of focus due to the haze caused by the California fires. Sorry for the folks who are suffering loss due to those fires.
straight up is the M88 engine ( origine M1 ) , not our M30.... don't even know if it could be done due oil (return) passages ?

M88/1 and the oil passages are different.

Hi Andrew,

Good to see you last weekend and catch up a bit. I pulled this frame from the video my wife shot at the Corckscrew on Saturday. It's my old Jager CSL in the hands of its new owner, Chandler Briscoe. Full video coming soon.

Great looking shot and even greater looking car!

Today, Monday the 27th my last day out here. Visited Matteson’s Auto Repair in Pacific Grove. OCCoupe and I took the Coupe and the 3.3 Li to storage while a friend followed in the wagon.

Lunch in Big Sur.

When we returned to Pacific Grove, I visited the Farmers Market complete with a violinist then walked to Lover’s Point.

Took Linus for a walk/run/play date.

Had a great time this year!

Nice shots from Ventana. :)

Love that place. Then again, the road to it is pretty awesome.

Hopefully next year I can get back in the game.
