Motor Identification

I recently purchased a motor/trans and headers for my car. I can't seem to identify on any other web sites the year and CC of the block. I'm assuming its a standard 3.3 liter. What is a good web site to look this motor up? These were all the numbers on the block:
-Motor: 1252 4460, Serial#3280183, has a "19K73" on left side. no 3.3 or 3.5 identification. Was painted gold.

Other stuff:
-Head has 1981 casting number and appears to have been rebuilt with new rockers, cam, springs, etc. Standard BMW casting number on cam and no wear.
-Came with triple "delorto" carbs
-Headers, unknown mfg.
-trans: 260 5speed

And I think 19K73 is the date of casting - 19 November 1973
