To start off with, I find the early style regulators and sardine box motors much better.
Easier to install and much quicker action up and down.
Today I spent half an hour getting the later style regulator mounted.
There might be a position of the lever where the regulator WITH mounted motor will get into position for the screws to mount it in place, but I didn´t find it.
Instead I was fidgeting with the motor loose forward of the chromed vent window arm in the door. Then holding the regulator with the other hand and the motor attachment screw with the third hand...I was alone. Terrible work. What did the German engineers think of when constructing this.....and why did they change from the early style setup???
