Are these Original or aftermarket BMW mudflaps?

Just based on the fact that it is completely wrong type face, I am sure it is aftermarket

Definitely, someone else’s BMW.
Try the “bang and pop” brigade who have fitted silly software to ruin their nice ~ 10 year old BMW engine management software.
