Last week I was in Frankfurt Germany on business and had a day to spare this past Saturday.

Locals recommended that I visit Klassik Stadt ( http://www.klassikstadt.com/ ). WOW am I very glad that I went there!

A converted mill made into a masterpiece collection of various European classic cars from the 1920s through to present day (such as a 2011 Mercedes AMG SLS gullwing).

It is 15minutes taxi from downtown Frankfurt or 30minutes by train+tram (I took the taxi there and the public transport back).

A special place, and they frequently host car enthusiast events.

That Light Blue CSL has the Alpinas painted with the Black portion within the indent. All Wrong!! (I Hope)

Bummer, I spent the day in Frankfurt last Friday and was just strolling the city instead...
Was wearing a Greek flag looking Polo Shirt just before the game and the train mob noticed that...

Arde , for sure the game on Friday night was great to watch , Greece versus Germany . I was in a restaurant in Bad Homburg and the fancy ambience stopped at 8:30pm when they wheeled in the big flat screen television and turned up the volume.

If Greece won the match I am sure the German people would forgive all of the debt owing to the EU as reward.

P.S do not wear a shirt with red, white, green on the day of the match between Italy and Germany :)

Here is a picture after befriending the hordes of fans that mobbed the train. I am the one with Greek flag color as pointed by one agitator in the crowd. I was working on my crowd control plan but it turned out that the stadium stop was before the airport.

Saw more old BMW models in Frankfurt than before, I guess the economy is having an impact... The only classic was this MG with some rally affiliation.

Arde, it may have been easier to buy a new t-shirt :)

During my week I saw a lot of fine cars, but nothing "classic" (ie pre 1975) other than a Citroen 2CV.

My favorite spotting of a car driving on the roads of Frankfurt was a new Weismann MF4 - I would use my coupe as downpayment for a Weissman, I love that car! (and it has all BMW drivetrain).

beautiful pictures!

Thank you Duane. ;--))))))))))))

some guy knows the number of the vin # csl in yellow?

or you know vin # csl in the fjord?

I'm grateful thanks
