Even though it didn’t look too bad before I started the restoration it had a lot of hidden surprises. When I bought it in 2017 the previous owner stated it was recently restored. The quality of the work done was less than poor. Lots of hidden rust and tons of filler. I got fooled by the decent looking paint job. The color was a non bmw color and actually quite nice.
