My budget midlife crisis project is complete! Good time with the kids though. My 6yo is doing great after a few days on a new deck! My evil plan to get them off skis and into snowboards has begun!

If my spelling and grammar go downhill, it is likely due to a full arm cast. :D

I went about 60’ this summer on one of my grandkids long board! Even up a ramp and I guess I did a fakey? Lol. Nothing fake about the next try found myself on the ground!
That was enough of that. I used to be on a slalom snow ski team when I was younger.... two boards strapped to my feet screaming 50 or 60 ( I suppose) seemed fine, but one wide board and both feet strapped to it didn’t seem right to me. Lol

A little nicer, better designed, better looking, and safer (relatively speaking..) than the ones we made from Bev Sherwood's old roller skates, a surfboard-shaped cutting board (sorry, Mom)...attached with nails. Worked ok for about a week...

Honestly when I was into skating as a kid I was fully expecting to be riding hoverboards by now.
