Found this under the coupe, putting engine back in this week, where does this belong? (Arde, can't wait for your answer)

Two sides are flat to hold it in place, back is flat as well.

My guess:

Did you remove the front bumper for your install?
Looks kinda like the bumper mounting bolt that slots into the chassis?

trans mount bolt
fits in the "slider " , you will see at one end of the "slider" is wider , turn that bolt 90 degrees stick it in , turn 90 , and slide it down the rails ,

Unless Ive gone goofy ( not uncommon) I thought the trans mount studs and center support studs were 8mm ?

That stud you have pictured really looks like one to me ??

There are a couple...one is the mount for the bumper to the body of the car. The other is the trans mount. Both have the "slot" as seen in the head of the bolt. I've used the same bolt for both things.

Don't know but you should always have one of your fingers in the picture like DQ does. The reader gets an idea of the scale and that you are a hands on person judging by the grease on your fingers.

BTW if you look at that picture without blinking for about five minutes you start seeing an eerie vision of the screw morphing into R2D2 and sliding down the bench. Scary.
