Nardi Steering Wheel Question

I purchased a new 360mm Nardi Classico wheel four years ago, and over time the polished center spokes have gotten some scratches in them. In addition, I found after I installed this wheel that the polished center spokes can be a nuisance if the sun hits them at just the wrong angle.

I am considering scuffing up the finish on the spokes (in keeping with the notion that a car only needs one steering wheel), and was wondering if anyone else has tried this?

Or maybe I should just get over the one steering wheel concept and buy a few more.

How am I going to explain this particular part of my obsession to my wife? Do I have to change the gear shift knob when I change the steering wheel?

Yes because the mojo of each play off each other, if the zen is out of balance it will drive you crazy.

Hang the out of use wheel on the wall as art. If both wheels are wood, no knob change needed
