My rear window gear is stripped and spinning, does anyone have this assembly for sale or know where to get one (not the motor, but the gears)? Thanks.

I saw those previous posts and I have removed the gear box, popped the back off it and have eyeballed the pastic ring gear inside, a portion of the gear is worn/mashed so when the drive gear gets to the spot it disengages and spins. The window does go up and down. It's part # 51 37 1 801 878 and I found one place that has it for $320 yikes would rather find a used one. Thanks much.

A forum member has fixed me up, thanks Dan, this would have been impossible 25 years ago with my first coupe!

This is probably old news, but for what its worth, that part was evidently used on several models.
