Need help identifying these parts

A call to the collective swarm of BMW-related intelligence of the group:

I have these two wipers in my basement storage and it is time to clear out some space, so I need to figure out where they belong:
I presume they are for an E10, but their base part (which connects to the wiper shaft) is different - one is round, the other one angular (like the E9 style).

its been too long since i've looked at other models. i would think they are both straight ends - i remember using these with 2002, e3, e21 and e12 ... but short chrome ones make me think of NK cars 1800 / 2000, early 2002 ... longer chrome ones make me think early e3. my memory of e12 was black arms / wipers ... but i had a 79. i would think that most everything after 74 was black
